Welcome to @ahlfy and @LuniLu. Thank you for joining me here!
I didn't realize people would be able to join the site yet, so seeing you here was a bit of a surprise but now that I know people are able to join it is time to start sharing!
Whenever you feel like it please feel free to leave feedback on what you like/dislike about any artwork. Would also love to get ideas from the community about who they might like to see in future drawings.
Karl is a barber in the state of Michigan, United States. He was targeted by the state government for refusing to close when the government forced millions of small business to shut their doors during the pandemic.
He peacefully stood up for his right to earn a living against the entire apparatus of the government. In the end, he won a decisive victory at the Michigan supreme court.
He serves as an example of how you can prevail against a tyrannical government through peaceful action.

Sorry it has been so long since my last post. Things have been pretty crazy between work and taking care of my kids. Here is the finished product of my experimentation of adding color to my digital drawings. I hope everyone likes it.
Anyway, here is Cassian Andor, the rebel captain from Star Wars: Rogue One.
On another note, you may be aware the locals has recently made it so that only subscribers can comment and post in communities. I know this community is just getting started so there isn't a lot of value here yet so I wish I could work around this... but it doesn't seem possible.
So, if you are interested in being able to post content and reply to my posts, I've set the subscriber tier to as cheap as possible ($2). I'll also start to post additional content just for these members.
Either way, if you like my work, please feel free to share the community. This link will give people one free month of membership: https://r21studios.locals.com/support/promo/FEB2021

I decided that I was going to try and add color to my latest drawing. Up to this point all my work has been in traditional grayscale media, so this is something new!
And, let me tell you, some of my experiments thus far have been pretty horrendous. 😆
I finally think got something not too bad going with the latest attempt, we'll see how it turns out. The images here are (1) the underlying sketch and (2) the inking/coloring process up to this point.
I definitely have a lot to learn in this area.
Comments are always welcome and appreciated. Hope you are all doing well.
P.S. Welcome to @GiselART @ClaireAsi @DebraCaroline @garjog @aventurin @Ladydi51261 and @slsmith97321! So glad to have you.
